The HILTI Group - headquartered in Liechtenstein - is one of the leading companies in the fastenings and demolition technology sectors. Their products are distinguished by outstanding innovation and top quality. 

STRAUSS & PARTNER is developing a new Distribution and Service center for HILTI in Leopoldsdorf. The project also includes modern office spaces. The entire Central and Eastern European market is supplied from the facility in Leopoldsdorf.

 

Details

The HILTI Distribution and Service Center consists of a logistics hall with about about 8,000 m² effective area, a directly adjoining service hall with about 3,000 m² effective area as well as an administrative and office section with technical areas in the basement with some 1000 m² effective area. 

The building will be handed over to the company HILTI at the end of October 2013. That means that the new HILTI Distribution and Service Center can go into operation at the end of 2013.

 

Location

The metropolitan area of Vienna, with its central position in Europe, is an ideal location to cover the markets in Central and Eastern Europe. This is confirmed by the Logistics Performance Index of the World Bank, in which Austria ranks at position 19 out of 150 countries. 

The location profits from its good transport connection. The property is located in the immediate vicinity of the S1 connecting the East Autobahn A4 with the South Autobahn A2. The border crossings to Hungary and Slovakia are each only 70 kilometers away, and are reachable via the Autobahn. The airport is a scant 20 minutes away by car. The planned Inzersdorf freight terminal and the proximity to international forwarding companies such as Gebrüder Weiss are another enhancement for the location.
